MyInternetNinja Employee Code Of Honor
We will not lie. Not to you, not for you, not with you, not against you. We want good relationships we can be proud of.
We will not cheat. Not on taxes, not on time-clocks, not on affiliate commissions or anything else.
We will not steal. Not from you, not from clients, not from regulators. We are able to screen very carefully, because we are a very small specialty shop.
We will not use ‘black-hat’ techniques in technical or non-technical areas. (‘Black hat’ SEO techniques, for instance, can sometimes get a site ranked very well for a while, but once Google finds out, it can be all over for that business. Ditto for spam techniques on the non-technical side, and viruses/trojans/malware on the ‘unmitigated evil’ side.)
We will not engage in spam.
We will not hold back our best efforts, nor our best thinking. We want you to succeed.
We will be professional, yet quirky enough to allow for our creativity and initiative to shine. Don’t expect us to be emotionless robots! We want real relationships.
We will tell you when there is a problem, and will work quickly to resolve it.
We will be there for you when you have a crisis.
If for any reason we reach the end of a working relationship, we will surrender all passwords promptly, and make a list of all the potentially sensitive information in our possession so you can make any desired changes.
We will maintain this code of honor at all times.
MyInternetNinja Site-Specific Code Of Honor
We will not spam you.
We will answer your questions without pressuring you to buy anything.
We will not ever do anything nasty with your email address.
Client Code of Honor
By hiring through MyInternetNinja, you agree to the following:
I will not intentionally create a situation in which my employee must violate the Code of Honor. If I accidentally create a situation that would cause this, I understand it is my employee’s duty to refuse, and I further resolve to change the situation promptly. (If an inadvertent problem does arise, we are happy to help resolve the problem. As before, we -want- good relationships!)
I will not dehumanize my employees by asking them to violate their code of honor.
